Waiting for TA

Although looking back over the last five months since we first saw Emma's file makes it seem like this process has flown by....there have been some stages where time has moved at a snails pace for our family. Normally I would welcome time seemingly slowing down as I would love to have more time to enjoy the moments in life. But of course at this time we just want to get Emma home as quickly as possible. We are finally at the last stage of the "paperwork" process which is waiting for what is called our Travel Approval. Our agency has requested an expedite, but really it's anyone's guess how long it will take. The normal time frame is around 2-3 weeks but hopefully it won't take quite that long! We are hoping to leave with the July 19 travel group and want at least a little notice to get all of our travel booked. In the meantime we have been busy preparing around the house and gathering everything we need for the trip. We finished up Emma's room a couple of weeks ago and I just love how it turned out! Here are some pictures of her room while it was still clean....now it has become packing central.
